Face painting season typically starts around Spring Break
and lasts through Halloween and Day of the Dead.
Off season, I am still available, but only by special request.
Face and Body Painting FAQs and Answers
I am asked these same questions so frequently that it just makes sense to answer some of them here. If you have other questions, feel free to contact me.
What is face paint?
Real face paint is actually not paint at all. It is specialized makeup that, unlike paint, is safe for skin. I use well tested brands like Tag, Kryolan, Wolfe, and Paradise.
Where can you paint?
I am only available in the San Francisco area except by special arrangement.
Do you paint adults?
Yes, I actually paint adults more often than kids. Black Light events seem to be especially popular lately and black light reactive face painting is a great addition to parties and nighttime events.
Can you do face painting for kids?
Yes, I am happy to paint for children, but you are unlikely to see pictures of them on my site in order to protect their privacy. I only post photos of children whose parent/guardian has given specific permission to do so.
What do you mean by “face and body” painting?
Faces and cheeks are fun to paint, but arms, hands, legs, and even torsos are also worthy of decoration! Pretty much any skin that is decent to expose in public is OK to paint.
